About
Meet the person turning up at your house
Your bike. Your place. Professionally serviced. Seeley Servicing is Sam Seeley — an independent, family-run mobile motorcycle business based in Dorchester, working on bikes around Weymouth, Dorchester and Wareham in Dorset.
Sam Seeley
When you book a service, Sam is the one who arrives, does the work and writes your report. There is no rota of technicians and no service desk in between — you speak directly to the person with their hands on your motorcycle.
Years of spannering, fabrication and diagnostics on everything from commuter scooters to classics that had not run in a decade, all of it now packed into a mobile setup that comes to your driveway with the right tools, oils and parts for your machine.
The Seeley name
Sam's grandfather was Colin Seeley, the British motorcycle racer, engineer, frame designer and constructor whose Seeley racing motorcycles and chassis became known around the world.
That history is something we are incredibly proud of, but Seeley Servicing is not about recreating the past. It is about carrying forward the values behind it: understanding how things work, repairing things with your hands, solving problems, and taking pride in your workmanship.
Today this is very much a family business. Sam's children are growing up around motorcycles, tools, fabrication and engineering, learning skills and traditions that can continue into another generation.
Built by hand. Built around family. Built to be passed on.

Straight answers
What you can count on
Insured and independent
Public liability and motor trade insurance in place, and no dealer targets pushing extra work onto your invoice.
All makes, all ages
Japanese, European and British machines, scooters, commuters, weekend bikes and classics that have sat too long.
You approve extra work
If we find something beyond the agreed job we photograph it, explain it and price it. Nothing is fitted until you say yes.
Pay when it's done
Bank transfer or card once the work is finished and you are happy with it. No deposits, no card details up front.
How we work
Three things we hold to
Be honest about what it needs
No invented work, and no quiet omissions either.
Do the job properly
Correct parts, correct torque, checked before we pack up.
Treat it like our own
Somebody else's motorcycle gets the same care we would give ours.
How we prove the work
Evidence, not adjectives
Real photographs only
Bike photos on this site are our own work, not stock images of somebody else's workshop.
Your report is your evidence
Every service produces a written digital report with measurements and photos, so you can judge the work yourself rather than take our word for it.
Ask us for references
Happy to talk through similar jobs we have carried out on machines like yours — just ask when you enquire.
